Insights Leadership Masterclass

An experiential programme challenging leaders to review their mindset in the context of today’s workplace challenges. The programme considers value-based leadership, self-awareness, focussed energy to achieve sustainable results, goal and performance management. The programme offers a series of open learning / interactive webinars, a practical “Insights thought series”, videos,  practical coaching opportunities with other delegates, business / team case studies and a 360-leadership review. Ultimately the programme allows leaders to capture Insights, Learning and imbed New Action.

First Line leader

This is a modular, activity-based programme for first line leaders that equips them with the tools to grow and excel, with a sound foundation in working to achieve results through others. The foundation is built on bespoke Modules that include:

  • Values and behaviours for today’s leaders
  • Managing your network for growth
  • Commitment to goals and planning for success
  • Results through collaborative teaming, time management and delegation
  • Motivating today’s workforce for results
  • Managing for high performance and good discipline

Typically facilitated through 6 on-site sessions, working and discussing relevant activities, coaching by colleagues and facilitator, access to videos, case study, role play and post-programme presentation to senior leadership.

Supervising for success

This a structured programme requiring Supervisors to engage with their role, further understand the fundamentals of managing resources, people and processes that ensure they add value to the business. The Modules include:

  • Goal direction and managing your time
  • Managing resources, people and processes
  • Building relationships that work for you

Manager as coach / mentor

A skills programme that will hone coaching and mentorship skills for managers, using brain-based coaching models in practice. Delegates will master coaching techniques through active practice including extensive role play and case study.

Customer Service Awareness - clarifies the nature of customer relationships / "mindsets", reviews current service, unlocks service improvement opportunities. It focuses communication, presentation & deportment. It facilitates a customer service ethic and develops ways to "wow" the customer.

Self-Management - based on modules that will motivate the individual to conduct self-assessment, consider vision / direction, review team style, time management, thriving under stress, improving personal creativity & planning change.

Customer Service (S/NVQ 2 & 3) - a comprehensive 6 to 9 month project improvement drive by the individual learner. Monthly group sessions and one-to-one assessment ensure individual learners achieve individual development objectives and measurable organisation benefit.

Practical Management- a dynamic and structured approach to demonstrating competence in managing people, resources, processes and change. Focused at mid management. Driven through improvement projects that ensure improved individual and organisation performance.

Interpersonal Skills Development - a range of programmes that improve communication, presentation skills, conflict management, negotiation, mentorship and performance management. Using Covey principles.

Project Management (NVQ 4)- learners work a physical work based project using all the skills of a project manager. Covering MS Project, project leadership, scope & planning, tools & techniques, monitoring & evaluation.

Managing Discipline / Counselling Effectively- comprehensive skills based programmes that ensure learners understand their role as managers, the concepts of incapacity & misconduct, how to manage warning / counselling. Learning through practical case studies and role-plays.

Measurable Management- a 6 month junior to mid management programme that will require the learner to apply all aspects of the programme to his work place. Group sessions and one-to-one assessment ensure ideas logged are managed to the benefit of the organisation.

Managing the Disciplinary Enquiry- for the investigator and chairman of the enquiry, this programme will provide practical opportunities to review cases, develop a line of questioning, chair enquiries, assess results and write up the findings.

Team Leadership- a process for developing facilitation, problem solving, creative approaches to structured team development. The programme also covers team performance measurement and making improvement ideas work.

/NVQ = National Vocational Qualification (UK and Scotland)These are highly sought after qualifications assessed through NEBS management and City &Guilds.
